PUNISHMENT

1.

Absence without excuse from the classes more than 3 times in a subject during a term.

1. Lose marks for one of the continuous assessment test.
2. Refers the student to the guidance counselor

Non completion of assignment

The teacher involved should deal with the situation appropriately. Repeated offence, refer the student to the guidance counselor.

3.

Cheating in exam or CAT and tempering with end of term exams, report sheets or all forms of exams malpractices.

First time offender- zero score in that subject and 2 days work. Second time offender-2 weeks suspension. 3rd time offender- expulsion from school.

4.

Noise making either in the classroom, assembly of library to the extent of disturbing other students.

Caning by an authorized staff. sweeping or washing school toilets for 2-3 days

Failure in promotion examination

First time offender.- to repeat the class. Second time offender- withdraw from school

Failure to attend extension classes without permission

Student ;to come frfom home to write NECO/WAEC/SSCE

Failure to clean the classroom when assigned to do so.

Extension of sweeping for one week.

No observance of afternoon/Evening prep.

Wash toilet for 2 days. Repeated offenders should be referred to the guidance counselor.

Eating and chewing at inappropriate places and time

Wash dinning hall table, plates and Turin under the supervision of the dinning hall prefect.
