Boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 13 are admitted from all over the country. Entrance Examinations are usually taken in most state capitals on a fixed date. Successful candidates are usually invited for interview. An interview board is set up by the Headquarters Nigeria Air Force (HQ NAF) and students are always admitted on their own merits.

            Transfer of students from other schools into the school my class is not allowed. Admission into the school is only into JSS1 through the entrance examination conducted by HQ NAF.The school is an all boarding/co-educational institution. The students are divided into four houses namely: Jaguar (Blue) Mig, (Green) Hercules, (Red) and Alpha (Yellow).
