AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF COMMANDANTWING COMMANDER BD BOLARINWA FSS psc

Wing Commander Babatunde Dele Balorinwa FSS psc was born in Ibadan to the family of Mr & Mrs AO Bolarinwa on 20 December, 1972.  He hails from Ibadan in Ibadan South West Local Government Area of Oyo State.

He started his educational career at Victory Primary School, Oke-Ado, Ibadan in the year 1978.  Having obtaine d the Primary School Leaving Certificate in 1984, he proceeded to Baptist Secondary School Oke-Ado, Ibadan for West African Secondary School Certificate Examination in 1989.  He enlisted as an Officer Cadet at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna as a member of 43 Regular Course.  Having obtained Bachelor of Science Degree in Maths in 1995, he was commissioned to the rank of Pilot Officer in September 1996.

He belongs t o the Education Specialty, therefore, he started his career as a military officer in Air Force Military School (AFMS) Jos as an Instructor.  He teaches Maths.  He held many appointments in AFMS which included Alpha Squadron Commander, Officer-In-Charge of Examination Unit, Principal Instructor (Maths) and Administrative Officer.  Also, he was Staff Officer Grade 2 Academics at NDA, Group Education Officer at 305 Flying Training School, Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Enugu and 97 Special Operation Group NAF Port Harcourt; and Base Education Officer at NAF Base Ikeja.  Furthermore, he was the Commanding Officer Students’ Wing AFMS, Staff Officer Grade I Training (Management) at Headquarters NAF Abuja before he was appointed as the Commandant of Air Force Comprehensive School Ibadan on 18 January 2010.

He participated in Education Orientation Course, organized by University of Jos, at AFMS.  He has Post Graduate Diploma in Education.  In the year 2001, he was nominated to attend Junior Staff Course 52/2001 at Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) Jaji, Nigeria and Senior Staff Course 29/2006 at the same AFCSC Jaji in the year 2006.
