BRIEF HISTORY
The Air Force Secondary school Ikeja was established in 1981 to provide secondary education to the children of Nigerian Air Force personnel who graduated from Air Force Primary Schools but were refused entry into Lagos State Secondary schools. At that time Lagos State has the policy of not admitting children from private and fee paying primary schools within Lagos State.
The School started with a student population of about 50 students. Currently the school’s student population stands at over 2,300 students. The school has trained and graduated over 4,000 students who are working in various professions within and outside Nigeria.
Since inspection till date, this great school has had 2 principals and 6 commandants. They are:
