Wing commander Sobir Adeniyi Adeyanju was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Yekeen Ademola Adeyanju on 30 September 1972 at Oyo town Oyo state. He hails from Atiba Local Government Area and speaks Yoruba and English. He is a Muslim by faith. He had his primary school education at Akinsemoyin Primary school, surulere, Lagos from 1976 to 1982. Thereafter, he attended Federal Government College, ogbomoso between 1983 and 1989. He gained admission to the NDA on 16 August 1991 as a member of 43 regular course.
He graduated with a bachelor degree in physics and was commissioned pilot officer into the Nigerian Air Force on 21 September 1996. He was then posted to Air Force military school Jos as an instructor. Wing commander Adenyanju has attended some military courses which includes; junior staff course from January to June 2001 and senior staff course from august 2008 to August 2009 at the armed Forces command and staff college Jaji. He also attended some professional courses which include Post graduate Diploma in Education at the university of Jos .

He is married to former Miss Muinatu Titiloye Arogun and blessed with a boy and 2 girls. His hobbies include reading, playing basket ball, volley ball and football. |
