Boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 13 are admitted from all over the country. Entrance Examination is usually taken in most state capitals on a fixed date. Successful candidates are usually invited for oral and written interview. An interview board is set up by the Headquarters Nigerian Air Force (HQ NAF) and students are always admitted on merits. Transfer of students from other schools into the school is not allowed. Admission into the school is only through JSS1 after the entrance examination conducted by HQ NAF.
