AFCS Uyo is guided by the following rules and regulations:
a. All students must be properly turned out at all times.
b. Students must pay compliment to their seniors. These shall include the officers, airmen/airwomen, teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.
c. Students must promptly obey orders given to them.
d. The school bell is a command and must be obeyed as such
e. All students must partake in all school activities.
f. Students’ conversation must always be in English Language. Other languages may be used during language studies.
g. All students must take their meals in the dining hall except otherwise directed for sick students.
h. Prep, siesta, repose and light out are compulsory. Absolute silence must be maintained at these times.
i. Students must not cross the lawn.
j. Girls’ hostel is out of bounds to boys and vice versa.
k. Students must not come late to school from holiday or pass.
l. It is an offence for any student to feign sickness (malinger) in order to avoid punishment.
m. Attendance at the morning assembly is compulsory for all students.
n. No student must keep any money on him/her at any given time. All pocket monies are to be deposited with the school.
o. Any student who sees another disobeying a School Rule and takes no action has committed a punishable offence.
p. No student must leave the compound without pass.
q. Students should not receive visitors except on visiting/open days.
r. Staff quarters, staff rooms, school canteen and school gate are out of bounds to all students. Students can only go to any of these places for an official engagement by permission.
s. Bullying, flogging and fighting are strictly forbidden.
t. No student must deprive the other of his/her possessions unlawfully.
u. No publication like magazines, pamphlets, notices or cartoons should be circulated, displayed or initiated without the Commandant’s approval.
v. Students must not communicate with outside organizations like press, commercial houses, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, scholarship boards, etc.
w. Students must not take alcohol, pills, hard drugs or any other drugs not recommended by the Medical Personnel.
x. No student must be involved in examination malpractice.
y.) Students must not indulge in homosexuality, lesbianism, stealing, insubordination and the use of offensive language.
z.) Students are not to bring private electronic equipment like radio set, television set, tape recorder, handset, etc into the school.
aa.) Wearing of civilian dresses in the school is forbidden, and all uniforms must conform to the approved style.
bb.) It is an offence for any student to willfully damage any school property or a fellow students’ property.
